The XP-System™ is a high density plant propagation system based upon the successful rooting performance of OASIS® Rootcubes® Growing Medium. The system consists of either 26 or 52 cell count double plastic strips containing sterile OASIS® media. These high density strips fit snugly into a custom designed sub-irrigation/flood tray for ease of handling and water management. This allows for maximum productivity and efficiency for the grower in bench plant density, ease of handling, and volume shipping in small packaging. Want to know how easy it is to use the system?
Simply space the XP-System™ 26 or 52 count cell strips into the XP-System™ sub-irrigation tray, using 3 strips per tray. Either by hose watering or flood irrigation, fill the specially designed sub-irrigation tray with water up to the top rim of the tray. The tray is designed and calculated to allow for slow water drainage, allowing enough time to thoroughly water the OASIS® propagation media. Water not absorbed by the media will drain out through bottom holes, allowing for good aeration within the strips.

After the easy preparation of the media, simply stick your unrooted plant cuttings into the universal star-shaped dibble hole. This unique star feature accommodates most all stem sizes and snugs the stem close to the media for good contact. Mist your plants under normal practices specific to the crop type being grown.

You will need to manage the water hydration in the media as needed during the mist phase by filling the sub-irrigation tray. Sub-irrigation allows for better water uptake and eliminates run-off as a result of heavy foliage plant types. After you take your cuttings off the mist, continue to water the media by using the XP-System™ sub-irrigation tray to insure proper moisture levels.

Your plants will be well rooted and ready to ship or transplant between 9 to 21 days, dependent upon crop type and environmental conditions.
